Jeff Hamilton Choice House

Jeff Hamilton

Co-Owner, CFO

Jeff Hamilton adds a voice to the Choice House team, representing families and caregivers who want to assist in the recovery of loved ones. As a parent providing support to sons who were entangled in the web of addiction, Jeff’s recovery journey is slightly different. His involvement at Choice is the culmination of his experience with addiction recovery from a related support perspective and his belief that there’s not much traffic on the extra mile of helping others.

As an active CPA with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Jeff has taken a nontraditional path in the world of public accounting due to his interest in the people side of business. He has served as the CFO of various companies such as Royal Robbins, 5.11 Tactical, Noble Outfitters, Regional Hand Center, and Vecchio Trees.

Jeff is happily married to Karen and together they enjoy many outdoor activities, international humanitarian service, community volunteerism, and family experiences. (And in case you were wondering, Jeff is indeed Jordan’s dad.)

Tyler studied business administration at Southern Utah University. Dustin Hoegerl

Lookout Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Born and raised in California, moved to Colorado to become closer to family. I love sports, and played football, baseball and soccer growing up. I enjoy the outdoors these days in Colorado. Fishing, camping, hiking. There's something about connecting with other addicts that fills me up. I enjoy helping where I can. The biggest lesson I've learned in being in this industry is being open, willing and honest. Life is a beautiful thing and anything is possible once you lay that groundwork.

jennifer-lake-ch

Jennifer Lake, PMHMP

Psychiatric NP

I have been an RN for many years. For 20 years I worked as a therapist after graduating from Naropa University in Boulder. My favorite work as a therapist was with an adolescent treatment center in Lakewood as a family therapist. I have been a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, graduating from New Mexico State University, for the past 13 years. I started out working with Mental Health Partners. I then worked at The Depression Center on the Anschutz campus and am now in private practice. I have been with Choice House for the past 2 years.

While I enjoy private practice working with a team of professionals all with the same goal is inspiring. The men we work with at Choice House never cease to amaze me for different reasons, each being an individual with different gifts, resilience and desire to live their lives in a way that matters to them. I enjoy the work I do as I can help people feel better and prefer working with a person so we can decide together what would be the most helpful for him/her/them.

Outside of work I enjoy hiking and backpacking, cross country skiing and cooking with my husband. Painting is one of the things I enjoy and I plan on taking more classes. I love all animals. Having close friends and family is one of the most important parts of my life and gives me great pleasure. I do believe that each of us does the best we can in every moment. This belief informs my professional and personal life.
