Choice House in Boulder offers variable lengths of stay through our extended primary treatment and structured sober living programs, with a minimum 90-day commitment.

The Choice House Boulder sober living rehab center treats those with substance abuse or a primary chemical dependency diagnosis. We work with men who have addictions to alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates, benzodiazepines, and other drugs.

Yes, visitation is allowed – typically on Sundays and visitor days. However, other arrangements can be made in special situations or to accommodate visitors’ schedules.

We encourage communication with friends and families; however, during the beginning of our programs we do not allow personal devices. Clients eventually have access to phones and computers during their stay; accessibility is something that’s decided with each individual’s best interests in mind.

The Choice House program is a community-oriented approach to helping individuals thrive. We focus on brotherhood, community, and forming deep, meaningful connections with our clients. This isn’t an expansive, 100-bed program that focuses on numbers. We offer a massive support system, delivered through an authentic experience that’s meant to help support our clients on their lifelong journey with sobriety.

Choice House works with individuals to taper them off of suboxone and it is our ultimate goal to help our clients achieve abstinence based sobriety. The length of a taper is decided between our medical team and each client. Whenever possible, We transition clients to Vivotrol, a safer non-controlled alternative to suboxone.

Yes, Choice House clients enjoy movies on the weekends, hiking, going to the gym, disc golf, pool days, and more.

The process is simple, fast, and relatively painless. Most admissions can be streamlined and a client can admit on the very day as their first call to us. Decisions regarding each potential client are made quickly after consultation with clinical staff.
